Joe Krown's solo piano performance in April as part of our kickoff concert was so well received, we just had to bring him back for the Mardi Gras Jam! Originally from Long Island, Joe Krown attended the University at Buffalo in the 1970s, but left to pursue music. He's an accomplished and respected New Orleans musician, and for many years held the piano seat in the Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown Band. Joe is just as good on the organ as he is on the piano, so this time he and his combo will be performing a B-3 fueled set of jazz, funk, and swing that fits perfectly into our series-closing party.
